The Bahama Warbler (Dendroica flavescens), a Bahamian endemic, is now recognized as a distinct species from Yellow-throated Warbler, which will retain the name Dendroica dominica. The American Ornithologists Union (AOU) decided that the most recent information about the bird warranted species status.
